Philip Morris decided to change a Marlboro style and now Marlboro has a new packaging look. Marlboro Red, Marlboro Gold, Marlboro Silver Blue, Marlboro Ice Blast and Marlboro White Menthol will be presented by the cigarette manufacturer this month.
The new pack of Marlboro keeps the famous chevron and got a new soft-touch finish. The design itself is more modern. Cigarettes also changed for the better. They used a new tipping paper and hard filter, which makes them unique to this market.
Martin Inkster, Managing Director of Marlboro in the UK and Ireland, said: "We have made a bold move, making a redesign of few Marlboro products. Our new packaging set us apart from the competition, strengthen the popularity of Marlboro, and, most importantly, provide the best-selling cigarette in the world."
He added: "At a vital time for merchants, we are changing the brand to confirm it is constantly on the delivering them good profits from the highly profitable premium segment."
Philip Morris will promote the release of the new-look Marlboro assortment together with Imperial Tobacco, who will keep on distributing Marlboro cigarettes, and will also sustain the activity in store through their own national field force.
